Research and Development Organization working for a
society free of poverty, marginalization and exclusion.
African Human Development Centre
(AHDC) is a non-governmental, research
and development
organization working for a society free of
poverty, marginalization and exclusion.
In AHDC, we believe that exclusion is a major
driver of conflict and that it would be difficult to
achieve sustainable development when the social
and economic conditions of everyone in the
society are not improved and sections of the
society remainsmarginalized. This understanding.
We recognize the centrality of just and good governance in community development, poverty
eradication and improvement of people’s welfare.
We have provided PHCs in 6 rural
communities. Government has
complimented our efforts by
supporting some of these health
facilities with water borehole,
power supply and the right caliber
of staff.
In AHDC we believe that good
sanitary and hygiene practices
are key enablers of good health.
But the two would be difficult
without adequate and timely
supply of water.
It is our belief that quality
education can help to level
economic and social
inequalities, promote the
social mobility of people and
people’s access to better
levels of employment,
amongst others.
We recognize the centrality of
just and good governance in
community development,
poverty eradication and
improvement of people’s
welfare.
Our Mission is to promote social,
economic and political development of
women, children and people with
disabilities through advocacy, capacity
building and model service delivery
We identify with these core values
